This is important!<\/p>\n<p>2) Uninstall old BPOS SSO App from Control Panel &gt; Programs &gt; Uninstall a Program<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3) Login to <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.microsoftonline.com\">https:\/\/portal.microsoftonline.com<\/a>. This is the new URL for the company portal instead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/home.microsoftonline.com\/\">old URL<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4) From the right navigation choose \u201cRun the Setup Quick start\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT3.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5) Click on &#8220;on Your Computer&#8221; link on the top and then click on the &#8220;Run tool now&#8221; link on the bottom of the screen.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT4.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6) A click-once application will be deployed to your machine which will talk you through the installation, configuration and transitioning process of Office 365 on your desktop.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT5.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can tell, Outlook doesn&#8217;t need to be re-configured and the wizard will automatically switch your default BPOS-enabled email address to its Office 365 migrated one. All other non-default BPOS accounts must be configured manually.<\/p>\n<p>This wizard also installs &#8220;Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant&#8221; in your computer:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT6.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Note that unlike BPOS SSO App, Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant is now a Windows Service.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT7.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7) Once you have gone through all the steps in the wizard, open outlook and confirm your default email account has been switched to the new Exchange Server address:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.devhorizon.com\/reza\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/070112_0300_QuickGuideT8.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may also need to perform some manual steps to configure Outlook. Make sure you use the same server name (as shown in step 7) and proxy server settings automatically configured for your default account by the wizard.<\/p>\n<p>9) Browse to <a href=\"http:\/\/mail.office365.com\">http:\/\/mail.office365.com<\/a> to verify your Outlook Web App is working fine. BPOS OWA should now look like cars from 1970s to you. doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>10) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">One-time configuration by network admin<\/span>: Prepare your domain for new Lync online as discussed here: <a href=\"http:\/\/onlinehelp.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office365-enterprises\/hh416761.aspx\">http:\/\/onlinehelp.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office365-enterprises\/hh416761.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>11) Browse to <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.microsoftonline.com\">https:\/\/portal.microsoftonline.com<\/a> again and click on My Profile link on the top right corner of the page. This where you update your contact information and upload your picture.
